Note: This CPS/Firmware is only for the older AT-D878UV/UV Plus (version 1) radio. **For the newer AT-D878UVII/UVII Plus (version 2) radio, refer to the following page:** [AT-D878UVII/UVII Plus CPS and Firmware Downloads](https://support.bridgecomsystems.com/anytone-878-v2-model-cps-firmware-downloads?hsLang=en) **Warning: Firmware updates are done at your own risk. They are OPTIONAL updates and are not required. If you are having an issue with your radio, please contact support BEFORE doing a firmware update. Any damage from attempting this procedure are not guaranteed to be covered under warranty and could require a diagnostic or an ATC fee. Before updating firmware, you must back up your codeplug from the radio, as it will be erased when you do the MCU reset to complete the firmware update. Update instructions are at the link below labeled Firmware Update Instructions PDF, and we strongly recommend reading through it before attempting this procedure. Please check the Changelog link below to see what updates to the firmware have been done. The software and firmware download can be found below in the "Latest CPS Version Download" section above the video. If you don't want to update to the newest firmware, previous CPS version downloads are available at the bottom of the page.     When you use these files, be sure to COMPLETELY UNINSTALL your current version of STC Port Host Controller and then do a FRESH INSTALL of the version included with this update.   Failure to do so can result in loss of audio in digital mode!
