What many folks forget is that the SkyBridge Plus is a computerized device, and as such, it should always be shut down properly. If it is not, it may be incomplete in its closing of important files, resulting in the Initializing Error.
TO FIX THE INITIALIZING ERROR
To Correct the error, the screen Display Type that the SkyBridge Plus needs to be set as shown:

Be sure that the MMDVM Display Type shows Nextion, Modem, ON7LDS L3. If not, set the appropriate field and press the ApplyChanges button. Also be sure that the Radio/Modem Type is set to SkyBridge - MMDVM_HS_Dual_Band for Pi (GPIO). After these are set correctly, click any of the Apply Changes buttons. This should completely fix the initializing error.
